Start Using DeGate with Email

Email Login on DeGate DEX

From now on, you can use DeGate DEX by using your email!

With the Email Login feature, anyone can start using DeGate, even those without a self-custody wallet. By logging in via email, you essentially create a wallet tied to your email, fully self-custodied by you. A simple click grants you a self-custody wallet and opens the gateway to decentralized trading.

Step by Step Guide

1. Visit https://app.degate.com/

2. Click the 'Connect Wallet' button in the top right corner.

3. Scroll down through the options and select 'Email'.

1. Enter your email address and click the Submit button. The button will turn blue once you've entered a valid email format.

1. You'll receive a 6-digit verification code in your inbox. Enter this code to verify your account.

1. Check your email inbox for the verification message from DeGate.

1. Once verified, you'll see a login success message. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or double-check that you entered the correct email address.

1. Agree to the terms of service.

1. You'll now see your newly generated wallet address. This Email Login Ethereum wallet is powered by privy.io, you can also choice to export the private key.

But pay attention, do not share your private key with anyone.

1. Add Funds and Start Trading.

For email wallet user, DeGate supports adding these three assets ETH, USDC, USDT from Arbitrum and Optimism Network. You can send these assets from CEXs or wallets to the provided address in your DeGate account.

If you want to add other tokens, you should do it via Ethereum Layer 1 through an Ethereum wallet like Metamask.
